TCK Investments announced on January 27 the promotion of Mark Tetto and James Young to Co-Representative Directors.

Mark Tetto’s career in finance spans over 15 years with extensive experience in investment banking, corporate M&A, private equity and venture capital investing. Mark joined TCK Investments as Partner in 2015 and has been focused on investment strategy review, investor relations development and business expansion. Prior to joining TCK, he was at Samsung Electronics corporate M&A team, where he spent four years successfully acquiring companies and building the firm’s M&A practice. Previously, Mark served as an investment banker with Morgan Stanley in New York and London, where he was responsible for M&A, corporate finance, and debt financings in excess of USD 1 billion.

While at TCK, Mark has also received notable awards, including being named as Seoul Honorary Citizen, and the first foreigner to be named an Honorary Guard of Gyeongbok Palace. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Princeton University, and an MBA from The Wharton School, with a concentration in Finance.

Mr. James Young is also promoted to Co-Representative Director, from his current role as COO of TCK. James brings more than 30 years of management and investment experience in the global financial markets. He has rejoined TCK from National Pension Service (NPS), where he successfully led their first USD 1 billion global hedge fund investment. During his earlier tenure at TCK, James was responsible for setting up the operations and risk management. Prior to TCK and NPS, he was with Tong Yang Asset Management as Head of Global Asset Division, managing over USD 1.5 billion in global funds. Previously, James was in Hong Kong with UBS and Calyon, and in New York with Sumitomo Trust. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University.
