Ohad Topor

Mr. Topor is Founder and Chairman of TCK (Topor & Co Korea). During the last 23 years, Mr. Topor has invested across most major asset classes globally, allocating to private equity, absolute return, real estate, venture capital and traditional asset classes for his family office as well as Topor & Co. Before founding Topor & Co in the UK he was with Square Capital, a private investment office based in London and Paris. He is an advisor to the Korea Israel Innovation Center. He holds a Masters in Business (MBA) from Stanford University and a B.A in Economics from Tel Aviv University.

Mark Tetto

Mark Tetto is Co-CEO of TCK. Mark brings 15 years of finance experience spanning investment banking, corporate M&A, private equity and venture capital investing. Prior to TCK, Mark was at Samsung Electronics’ corporate M&A team, where he spent four years successfully acquiring companies and building the firm’s M&A practice. Previously, Mark was with Morgan Stanley, working in New York and London on M&A and corporate finance, raising funding for clients in excess of $1Bn. Mark holds a BA in Chemistry from Princeton University, and an MBA from The Wharton School, with a concentration in Finance.

James Young

James Young is Co-CEO, in charge of risk management and compliance at TCK. James brings over 30 years of management experience in the global financial markets. He has rejoined TCK from National Pension Service (NPS), where he successfully led their first $1bn hedge fund investment. During his earlier tenure at TCK, James was in charge of operations and risk. Prior to TCK and NPS, he was with TongYang Asset Management as Head of Global Asset Division, and with UBS and Calyon based in Hong Kong. James holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University.

 
 

Andrew Kim

Andrew Kim is Executive Director at TCK, and brings 24 years of experience in family office, OCIO, customized portfolio asset allocation, and offshore wealth advisory. Before TCK, Andrew was with Shinyoung Securities as head of its APEX family office division, where he successfully developed and implemented the firm’s wealth management and family office strategy, the first of its kind in Korea. Before Shinyoung, he worked as a Financial Consultant at Salomon Smith Barney’s International Wealth Management Office in New York. Andrew holds a BS in Metallurgical Engineering from Yonsei University and an MBA from Katz Graduate School of Business at University of Pittsburgh.

Howard Marks

Senior Advisor

Mr. Marks is the founder and chairman of Oaktree Capital. Today Oaktree is one of the largest alternative investment managers with approximately $158 billion under management as of September 2021. Mr. Marks also served as the chairman of University of Pennsylvania’s Trustees’ Investment Board (Endowment) from 2000 to 2010. Mr. Marks holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business of the University of Chicago and a BSEc from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Young-Key Hwang

Senior Advisor

Mr. Young-Key (YK) Hwang is Senior Advisor to TCK. Mr. Hwang was the Chairman of the Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA) from 2015 to 2018. Earlier he held top positions in the most prominent organisations in Korea. Among them: Chairman and CEO of Woori Financial Group & Woori Bank, Chairman and CEO of KB Financial Group, the largest banking group in Korea, Corporate Treasurer of Samsung Electronics, President and CEO of Samsung Investment Trust Management, the largest asset manager in Korea and, President and CEO of Samsung Securities. Mr. Hwang earned his B.A. in International Economics from Seoul National University, and M. Sc. in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics.
